Lacuna pallida from Iceland
Lacuna pallida (Costa, 1778) from Reykjavik, Iceland. This is a small gastropod from the northern Atlantic which lives on weeds. In Iceland it is much less common than its sibling species L. vincta (Montagu, 1803). The shell is translucent green and very fragile (pictured specimen measuring around 4 mm).
