Janthina pallida from Sicily
Janthina pallida Thompson, 1840 from Sicily, spring 2015. This gastropod uses a bubble raft to float on the surface of the ocean. These rafts could be found en masse on Sicily's beaches in April, but only a few shells being undamaged and still attached to their bubble raft when washed ashore.
