Margarites helicinus from Iceland
Margarites helicinus (Fabricius, 1780) is a circumboreal species. It lives on small seaweeds and under stones to 400 m deep. In Iceland, fresh beached shells are quite uncommon. The pictured specimen measures 4,7 mm.
