Ruditapes philippinarum from the Adriatic - a rare colour variation
A rare colour variation of Ruditapes philippinarum (Adams et Reeve, 1850) showing a delicate 'concentric' zigzag pattern. Less than 1 % of all specimens from the Grado lagoon are coloured this way. Dimensions: 26.4 x 20.7 x 15.6 mm.
